Ok, right up front, we recorded our CD ourselves. We used Logic Studio software on the Mac and it came out really well.
You may be asking yourselves why this is even important. Well, here is your answer.....Unlike the kids down the block, we didn’t have access to a garage or a studio. We recorded our entire CD onboard a U.S. Navy ship while we were underway in the Pacific Ocean. Yeah....true story.
We could go into all the geeky details of how hard it was and how the acoustics of a totally steel environment sucks for recording drums and etc, etc, etc. But, we made do and actually came out with a product that rivals a few studios right here in the SoCal area.
Just to add to that, we burn, label, package and distribute our CD’s ourselves. If we are not Indie, then we do not know what else to call ourselves.
